Leeds-wide student meeting, Saturday 27 November

The Leeds students occupying the Michael Sadler building have organised a Leeds-wide forum on HE and education cuts to take place on Saturday 27 November at 2pm in the Rupert Beckett Lecture Theatre (occupied Michael Sadler building) “to discuss how we can unite and move forward”. Their publicity material states that “all students, teachers, lecturers, parents and workers” are welcome.

Delegations from Notre Dame sixth form college, Allerton Grange school, Park Lane college, Leeds University, Leeds Met and Leeds Art college, Unison, Local goverment and UCU are already confirmed to be in attendance.

The Michael Sadler building is near the main Woodhouse Lane entrance, under the rectangular access ‘arches’ to the left of the white Parkinson tower, and then look for the occupation signs on the left. See building no. 78 (Michael Sadler) the map below:
